PRIDE'S INDIA 2018 MOTORCYCLE TOUR OF SOUTHERN INDIA

My bags are packed and I am leaving on a jet plane, but this time on an internal flight Cochin to New Delhi, a short hop by Indian standards but still a four-hour flight, equivalent to flying from Heathrow to Morocco. When the group left ,which as I write this seems to be weeks ago but was in fact, only four sleeps ago. I am not sure who introduced this method of timing days, but I like it, it's pink and fluffy not like the harness of days or nights, sleeps is nice. I digress , when the group, left I had a wager with John K as to the number of times he would have to produce his passport before boarding the plane, I went for fifteen, and I aimed to count the number for this internal flight. India is fascinating once you can get past the stereotypical, it’s dirty! Yes it is but not as dirty as the mess left behind after a pop festival or football match in the UK, plastic is the biggest culprit and we really must start doing something about this, In England we bury our waste ...

I am not well, in fact I feel really rough, I have left India and travelled to Dubai a four hour flight. My last night in India was the start of me feeling rough. I am not sure what is it but the symptoms are a really dry sore throat, a thick head and cramps in my hands. It came quite suddenly during the flight and really a bit disturbing, I knew that I had not slept well on my last night in India, it was really hot, really hot to the point I just couldn't cope I just kept having a cold shower trying to get my core temperature down. It's  now 5:30 am and I am I I'm in my Dubai hotel room listening to the call to prayer, just wondering how this works, In rural England we sometimes have complaints about the midday or 11:00am church bells. There are frequent  moans about the disruption to a quiet life,yet in Muslim counties the call to prayer is belted out at really silly o clock with no apparant problems, at least here you can hear that they have put some money into the...
